Our Programs: Annual Awards Dinner (The FNLM Awards Dinner is held each Fall to recognize medical scientists, health sciences librarians, experts in nursing informatics and public figures who are demonstrated leaders in increasing awareness and support of important health issues.), FNLM Conferences (FNLM and NLM have been hosting state-of-the-science conferences for many years, usually held on the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland.), Minority Student Outreach Program, Publishers Forum.

Friends of the National Library of Medicine (FNLM) is a coalition of individuals, medical associations and societies, hospitals, health science libraries, corporations, and foundations dedicated to increasing public visibility for, appreciation of, and engagement with the National Library of Medicine (NLM). FNLM, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, supports NLM’s many programs in research, education, and public service.
