FNLM Annual Awards Gala, an event that brings together Library advocates to celebrate leadership in health innovation discovery and delivery;

NIH MedlinePlus is the National Institutes of Health’s Web site and magazine for patients and their families and friends. Produced by the National Library of Medicine, NIH MedlinePlus provides information about diseases, conditions, and wellness issues in many languages, anytime, anywhere, at no cost. The Friends of the National Library of Medicine make possible increased distribution of the magazine.
Mentoring in Medicine
Mentoring in Medicine is a program that encourages students in underserved communities to consider healthcare careers. The Friends of the National Library of Medicine partners with the Library and Mentoring in Medicine to “turn dreamers into science and health professionals.”
FNLM Annual Awards Gala
The FNLM annual awards gala brings together more than 200 Library advocates from across the country for an evening to celebrate leadership in the discovery and delivery of health innovation. Each year the gala increases the impact of the Library, as exemplary award recipients are honored.
Conferences and Symposia
Conferences and symposia hosted by the Library are enhanced by the investments in hospitality provided by the Friends of the National Library of Medicine.
