Donald A.B. Lindberg Distinguished Health Communications Award
Given to a member of the print or electronic press or media who has demonstrated consistent and sustained distinction in reporting and communicating biomedical and health information to the public.

Medical Librarian of the Year Award
The Medical Librarian of the Year Award was renamed for 2026 with revised selection criteria to recognize an outstanding active or retired health sciences library professional who has made a significant local, national, or international contribution to academic or hospital librarianship, or to reward the evolving ways health sciences librarians provide innovative programs or services to promote and advance the medical library profession.
